STEP 1. The first step is to draw guidelines to help you draw the demon dragon a whole lot easier. Start off at the head and draw a round circle with a smaller circle inside of that one. Now draw on big long line from the middle of the head down to the middle of the left leg. Draw two more round circles the smaller one first for the torso and then the larger one for the pelvic area. From those circles draw a "V" shape with a tiny circle for the elbow on the arm and a horse hove shape for the hand. On the leg below draw a pac-man mouth shape for the leg. From the smaller circle up on the torso draw a long side ways "V" that curves off and winds up looking like a half shaped "S"   STEP 2. Now what you are going to do here is out line the guidelines to form the actual body of the simple dragon. Start off by drawing the snake like head and neck which is simple. Then move down and draw a rugged circle over the smaller one to form the torso, then move down again and sketch out the other misshapen shape for the waist area. And finally sketch a cone shape for the lower part of the body that contains the pelvis.   STEP 3. Now this step looks like there is alot to do but there really isn't. Okay there is. Always start at the top and work your way down. At the top draw the two horns and then underneath the jaw draw the two bones that are sticking out of the flesh. Next draw the arm by drawing a drumstick shape for the forearm, and then a corn dog shape for the upper part of the arm. Now what you do is sketch out the arms that are attached to the back of the dragon. This is the same as drawing regular arms but instead they have wing at the ends instead of hands. Now you can move down and draw out the thighs and bottom legs. After you do this draw the feet that look like clown shoes. Now you are ready to move to the next step.   STEP 4. In this step it shouldn't take to long because all you will be doing is drawing the wings and defining the wing like tissue that hangs from the arms of the dragon. The dragons wings are curved down like there wilted. Sketch out the wings by starting at the lower back and then work your way up. The best way to learn how to do this is enlarge the image and keep looking back and forth. Remember the wing when wilted over looks like a claw that might help you shape the wing. Sketch in some subtle detail to the feet and hands before leaving this step.   STEP 5. Now this is where you will pay more attention to detail by sketching in the actual face of the dragon.look at the image and see where the eyes go and how big. Of course the size of each body part you draw depends on how big you sketch out the image. Detail the arms with some wrinkling and define the rib cage. The ribs are popped out of the flesh so you literally have to sketch out bones. Now what you can do is detail the pelvic area with some simple scratched lines to define how skinny the dragon is. Sketch in the claw nails on the toes and draw the furry looking details to the tail.   STEP 6. In this step you will draw some details and definition on the dragons face, jaw, arms, legs and wings. Start off at the top and sketch in the tissue that is in the middle of the head by coloring it in very lightly with your pencil. Then move down to the bones that stick out of the jaw and goes through the neck, these bones resemble wire tubing after you do this sketch in a small beard and tiny lines that sit right above the eye. Now sketch in the tissue mass that hangs from the fore arm of the dragon and do the same thing on the wings arm the same way. It suppose to look torn and worn out. Move down to the legs and sketch lizard looking flesh line on the thigh and foot of the dragon. After you do all this move onto the next step.   STEP 7. A very short step here all you will do is define and detail the dragons wing. This wing really needs to look beat up and dead like. Just look at it and you will know what I am talking about. After you finish doing that and i hope you take your time, erase all the guidelines that you drew in step one and proceed onto the next step. You are almost done drawing your very own Demon Dragon.   STEP 8. Here it is now you are finally done. Your sketch should end up like this when you are done, and if it don't go back and fix your mistakes. You can color him in any color you want that is totally up to you. I hope you had fun and beware the demon dragon might steal your soul.   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6. Step 7. Step 8.
