STEP 1. In this first step you need to draw out three shapes a circle for the head, a carrot shape for the wing, and the large egg shape for the body or breast of the lovebird. After you draw out those shapes you can draw the guidelines for the face, the legs, and the thighs.   STEP 2. Now what you will do here is start shaping out the body of the lovebird using small jagged strokes to create a feathered like line around the body. Do this around the body until you come to the end of the wind. This is where you will be drawing the lines to create a feathered tip. Use this technique with the tail as well and draw out the shape to the feet and legs.   STEP 3. Now here in this step you will be sketching in the details and definition to the lovebird. Start by drawing a small circle for the eye and then shape out the beak with some detailing lines. Next use more jagged strokes to the chest of the lovebird to make him/her all full of feathers and repeat that same thing on the wing. After you are done with that you can detail the tail more and then start detailing the legs and claws on his/her feet.   STEP 4. On this last step of drawing all you will be doing is detailing the eye by adding a pupil and detailing the wing with some more jagged strokes to create the look of a fluffy bird wing. Now you can erase all those dirty guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.   STEP 5. That is it you did it! That was super dee duper easy wasn't it? That will complete this fun filled tutorial on how to draw a peach faced lovebird. I hope you had a butt load of fun and I will be back very, very shorty with the last tutorial of the day.
