STEP 1. The first thing you need to do is draw the head guide which is shaped like a nut.   STEP 2. Next, draw the top portion of the head which should be done in layers to form thick wrinkles or creases. Add the points to top of the nose, then proceed to step three.   STEP 3. You will now draw the top part of the mouth which looks more like an alligator or crocodile's mouth. The teeth are uneven and different sized. They are also gaped from one another.   STEP 4. Sketch in the base line for the small horn on the tip of the nose, then draw in the texture wrinkles to the top of the dragon's snout. Also incorporate the eye too.   STEP 5. Now is the time to draw the bottom portion of the dragon's form. The lower mandible should be thick, strong, and full of points as these are spikes that line the jawline.   STEP 6. Add the base or skin line to each spike or bone, then proceed to step seven.   STEP 7. Now you can draw the dragon horns. Notice how they flow back in almost a straight manner.   STEP 8. Almost done folks. Sketch out the skin of the neck which hangs pretty low, then draw in the layered scales to form the back of the neck. I love dragons that are created with these types of scales.   STEP 9. Lastly, add the scale lining to the neck underneath, then you can erase whatever mistakes you made.   STEP 10. That's it, you are all done. Now you can choose a color pallet to add life to your dragon head drawing.   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6. Step 7. Step 8. Step 9. Step 10.
