STEP 1. Start this step by drawing three shapes" a head shape, a thorax shape and the abdomen shape. You will then ad the lines for the legs front and back, and then the antennas.   STEP 2. You will now start sketching out the thickness of the hind legs and then add the lines for the hairs that make the chirping sound. Draw the line for the tail and then the front of the crickets face.   STEP 3. A cricket has a total of six legs, but in this drawing we only see five. Finish the lining for the crickets body and then draw out and color in the eyeball. You will sketch out the rest of the crickets legs and then you can move to the next step.   STEP 4. Draw out and thicken the antennas and then add detailing to the body and hind legs. Draw out more of the body on the back end and then finish drawing out the crickets tail.   STEP 5. This is your last drawing step and as you can see you will sketch in some definition and detail. Finish off the body lines and then start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.   STEP 6. This is what your cricket should end up looking like this. Color him/her in and you have just finished this lesson on "how to draw a cricket insect step by step".   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6.
