STEP 1. There are only five drawing steps and one line art step to this tutorial on "how to draw a pistol". You will first need to draw out the outlined shape of the pistol you are about to draw. This includes the whole top half, and then the hand grip. Once that is complete you can draw the rounded line for the trigger guard.   STEP 2. You will now draw the detailing lines that will be for the slide and the ejection port. The slide is the whole top half of the pistol that gets slid back to cock the gun. The ejection port is the notch you see right in the middle of the gun. Once that is done you can then draw the detailing lines for the front of the barrel and then draw the vertical lines that are close together near the rear of the pistol.   STEP 3. You will now start drawing the shape of the rear sight and hammer as you see in the back section of the pistol. Once that is done you can then draw the detailing lines on the rear sight, and then draw the muzzle of the gun in more detail. Once completed you can then draw out the shape ans style of the handle, and the trigger guard. One last thing, right at the tip of the guns barrel you will notice a small piece of metal. That is the front sight and you must also draw that is as well.   STEP 4. SInce you are almost done with this tutorial, you will now need to sketch out the trigger, and then add some pistol defining details as you see here. Once complete you can then move to the last drawing step.   STEP 5. Draw in the small shape for the slid lock safety latch and then draw the lining that will add detail to the handle of your new pistol. Once that is done you can start erasing some of the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.   STEP 6. Here you have it, your finished tutorial on "how to draw a pistol step by step". Color in the weapon and you are all done. Great work guys!   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6.
