STEP 1. Start this horse lesson by drawing the shape of the head which is in the form of a circle. You will then draw a connecting line that will go to another shape for the horses chest. Once that is done you can draw the back end, and add the facial guidelines, and leg lines.   STEP 2. As you know, drawing a horse head is a challenge. Hopefully this step will help you accomplish this task a whole lot easier. Start at the top facial guideline, and then work your way down. When you are done, the muzzle, and mouth should look just like the one you see here. To finish this step, all you have to do is draw some of the horses mane.   STEP 3. Before you draw more of the horse's mane out, you will first need to draw the shape of the neck, and start the lining for the chest, and front leg. Once that is done you can draw in the eyes, color in the pupils, and then draw the nostril. Lastly, add the ears, and the rest of the mane.   STEP 4. Once you are done with this step, your simple horse will be that much closer to be finished. Finish drawing the back end of the horse, and then the belly. Next, draw more of the leg shapes, and then move to the next step.   STEP 5. Finish the back leg, and then draw in the hooves. After that you can draw the horses tail, and this can be done as long, or as short you want it. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.   STEP 6. Here is what the finished drawing looks like when you are done. Now it's time to choose a shade to color him/her in. Wasn't this such a simple way to draw a fantastic looking horse?   Step 1. Step 2.
