STEP 1. To draw Tony Montana, you will need to start by making a circle for the head, and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw the middle body frame line to get a general idea on how your character pose will be.   STEP 2. The next thing you will do is sketch out the hairline for Montana's style, and then incorporate the ear lining too. Next, sketch out the cheek, and facial features like you see here. The reason why the characters face is distorted, is because this will be shaded in instead of detailed.   STEP 3. Continue to sketch out Tony's hairstyle like so which is the top of his head. After that, sketch in or shade out the shape of the eyes, and you will also use this shading technique to add definition to the left side of his face. Draw the jawline on the right, and then begin drawing out the shape of his shoulders, and jacket opening.   STEP 4. Continue to draw the lining for his left arm, and hand holding the handgun. When that is done you can then draw out his right hand, and then the pocket handkerchief that is on the right side. Color it in as well as his tie. Add a button, and then add some detailing on the gun like so.   STEP 5. Here is where you will color in the left side of image. This will allow the shape of his body to be outlined, and you will also see the length of the sleeves after you shade in those particular areas. Add detailing around his mouth to give his face a fearsome look.   STEP 6. Now you will finish off this lesson by adding some simple shading to the face. This will give Tony Montana his disgusted look, and it will also add detailing and texture to his face. DO the same type of shading on his hands, and then begin erasing all the lines and shapes you drew in step one.   STEP 7. This is a helpful tip on how to shade in this area on Tony, or Al Pacino's face. just read along and follow the directions.   STEP 8. When all is said and done, you should have an awesome sketch of one of the most talked about crime, and drug lords ever to hit the big screen. I hope you had fun, and be sure to join me once again.   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6. Step 7. Step 8.
