STEP 1. Draw 3 circles to show where the head and the body will be.   STEP 2. Join the circles together, and draw four lines coming from the body for the legs.   STEP 3. Start doing a basic sketch of the outsides of this bare "skeleton-like" sketch ye just did. However, do not do the head and paws yet. We'll get to that. Do the tail.   STEP 4. Start doing the paws. N.B. - I've showed how a hidden claw looks inside.   STEP 5. Here's a zoomed in version of the before step, focusing only on this one paw. This applies to every cat except the cheetah. The cheetah ain't hiding its claws.   STEP 6. Start to do a basic head. Also, begin to add some details.   STEP 7. Ends of the ears always end at the same point. This applies to most animals.   STEP 8. Eyes go at the top where the smaller part of the head is.   STEP 9. Here, now, add the eyes and more details. Congratulations, ye've sketched a tiger! Now get out there and finish it by doing yer lineart and colouring it in!   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6. Step 7. Step 8. Step 9.
