STEP 1. Okay, let's start with some helpful tips that will aid you to drawing a waterfall a whole lot better. First off, I explain how you should create the water at the bottom of a fall. The higher a waterfall is, the more powerful the crash should be. Read along to understand what I'm talking about.   STEP 2. Here is some brief examples on the different types of rocks, and foliage that you will most likely see surrounding the body of where a waterfall may be.   STEP 3. Let's begin shall we. Start by drawing the guidelines which will form the framework of the waterfall you are drawing. You can almost tell what is what.   STEP 4. What you will do now, is sketch out the shaped texture of the rock to the left, and then draw the arched shape of the top of the waterfalls water. Next, begin sketching out the long branch that seems to be part of the scenery.   STEP 5. Continue sketching out the rock to the left until you end up with a fully formed rock side. Add the detailing to the rock, and then begin sketching out the vines that are attached to the rocks surface. When that is done, you can start drawing out the right side of the cliff's shape like so.   STEP 6. Here you will finish off the entire sketch of this pretty waterfall. Finish sketching out the right cliff side, and then begin sketching out the massive looking tree or at least it's limbs. You will also draw in some vines and leaves, and then begin sketching out the water for the waterfall. Notice how I sketch out the crashing water at the bottom of the fall. You might want to erase the guidelines and shapes before you start detailing.   STEP 7. When you are all done, you should end up with a beautiful sketch of a waterfall. Color it in and maybe even add a parrot or another bird of some sorts. Great work guys!   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6. Step 7.
