STEP 1. Odin is a very powerful looking God and or man so when you draw out his framing you will need to make sure that it is very broad and bold. To start, make a circle for the head, and then draw out the outline of his long beard. You will then need to draw out the shape of the rounded torso like so, and then draw the left arm which is going to be pointing up in the air. Lastly, add the limb lines and facial guidelines to finish this stick figure frame off.   STEP 2. Here in step two, you will begin sketching out the actual outline of Odin's body structure. Start with the shoulders and arms, and then work your way down to the torso, hips, and legs. Notice that the arms and legs look very beefy and strong. Odin is a character of great strength so you must convey this through art. Once the body work is done you can then begin sketching out the clothing that he wears, and then draw out the beginning parts of the left hand and arm as well as his face and beard like you see drawn for you here in red.   STEP 3. Let's see, what I want you to do now is finish drawing out the left hand, and begin sketching out the right arm and hand until completed. Once that is taken care of the next step is to finish sketching out the legs which are covered by knee high viking like boots. Detail his knees like so, and then add some lining definition to his clothes and plated armor. Continue to work on Odin's face by sketching out the eyes, and his viking helmet. Notice how the helmet has two large curled horns on each side.   STEP 4. Before you go any further with drawing, I would like you to start erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one so you can start adding character detailing to his stature. Finish sketching out his face and be sure to add all the definition. Next, add some design work to the helmet and horns, as well as his armor and protective wrist bands. His boots need to be detailed too so go ahead and add some horizontal definition lines by using a light sketch technique. Lastly, draw the torch that is in his left hand.   STEP 5. The last thing you need to do to Odin is going to be very simple. First things first though. You will need to add engraving detailing to the torch, and then when that is done you can sketch out his large flared cape like you see here. Define the cape by adding creases, folds, and lines. Clean up the drawing a bit and move to the last step to see how your Odin drawing looks.   STEP 6. When you are all done Odin comes out looking great like you see here. Color him in and you have just created a wonderfully strong Marvel character that is one hundred percent incredible.   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6.
