STEP 1. Three shapes need to be drawn out starting with the oval head, the wide torso, and then the lower half of the body which is the hip and waist area.   STEP 2. Here you will sketch out the beginning concept to the hockey helmet starting with the head padding, and the chin strap. Once you get all the parts drawn in this step, you can proceed to step two.   STEP 3. Now draw out the grill lines and the detailing part to the chin guard.   STEP 4. Sketch out the shoulders, and arms like so which is also the bulky sleeves. Add wrinkles and crease folds in the forearm of he hockey player.   STEP 5. Finish drawing out the payers sleeves and begin drawing out the padded gloves and hands like so. Leave an empty spot for the hockey stick.   STEP 6. Remember that empty spot that I told you to leave behind? Well, you can draw out the hockey stick to fill in the gaps. Next, draw out the lower half of the body starting with the hips, and thighs.   STEP 7. Continue to sketch out the hockey player's legs and be sure to make the lining with plenty of wrinkles. The pants should look sort of baggy.   STEP 8. For the last drawing step, all you have to do is draw out the ice skates, and be sure to add the laces. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.   STEP 9. Here is what your player looks like when you are all done. Now you can color him in, or even use the colors of your favorite hockey team.   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6. Step 7. Step 8. Step 9.
