STEP 1. When we tackle this lesson we will be drawing whole parts of waterfall and it's surroundings. Start at the top and begin sketching out the shape for the top of the waterfall. Next, draw the lining that flows down the rocks which forms the actual water flow. The bottom of the waterfall should have raised arches like so.   STEP 2. Starting on the right hand side, begin drawing the foliage like the large leaves at the base of the waterfall, and then draw the tree trunk which is hidden or cut off in the drawing. The hollow area is the rocks which the water is falling or rolling off of. Add some detailing to the rock and then draw in some small bushes.   STEP 3. Draw more rocks which are layered. The can easily be drawn because it's almost like making clouds. Draw in some more large leaves as well as detail for them.   STEP 4. For the last drawing step you will add some more foliage or leaves which are peeking through near the bottom of the waterfall. Sketch in some rock definition as well, and then begin the process of line clean up.   STEP 5. Here is what the drawing looks like when you are all done. Now you can enjoy coloring in your drawing to perfection. I do hope you liked this lesson on drawing a waterfall for kids.   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5.
