STEP 1. Begin by drawing one half of a broken heart like you see here. The cracks should be large and pointed.   STEP 2. You will piece together the other side of the broken heart like so, and be sure to join the two pieces at the bottom so they align perfectly.   STEP 3. Before we stitch together the heart we must first repair some spots that have been tattered. You can do this by sewing together some patches like so. The lines for your patches can be as random as you want, but you have to make sure that the stitched lines are random in pieces as well.   STEP 4. Now the mending starts. Begin lacing your heart together starting where ever you want. I choose to start at the top because that area is still spread apart. As you make the stitches through the heart, you will also have to sketch in some cracks because this heart has taken a beating and you need to show that. When you are done mending your heart, clean up the mess.   STEP 5. Here is how the heart looks when you are all done. Now you can color it in using some unique colors for your patches.
