STEP 1. Lets get started shall we? Good, let's start by making some guide shapes and lines. Draw a circle for the head, then make the shoulder guideline as well as the facial and neck guides.   STEP 2. Now that there is a guide shape to work with, you will start sketching out the actual structure of Tony's face and head. Make sure that he has a nice jawline because we all know that Robert Downey has a really nice chiseled face. Make the hairline around the ear like so, then move along.   STEP 3. Using the facial guidelines you will first draw the thick, dark eyebrows. Of course this is just an exaggeration of how they really look, but you can choose to tweak this part of his face if you want. Draw the lining to form his nose, then draw the shapes of his eyes. Draw in the mustache then add inner ear detailing.   STEP 4. Sketch out the mouth like so, then draw in the goat-tee style beard in a very bold blocky manner. Sketch in the wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes, and around the nose. When that is done add creases for the eyelids, then draw and color in the pupils.   STEP 5. Now that his face is all drawn in, you can sketch the shape of his neck, then draw in the high style of his straight combed back hair. Add all the hair strand details, as well as the detailing or definition on his neck.   STEP 6. Tony Stark or Iron Man is pretty much all done. All that you need to do now is start the drawing process to getting his suit of armor drawn in. Start with the shoulders, then draw the blocks, detailing, and grooves on his suit until you have what you see here.   STEP 7. Lastly, sketch in the definition lines all over Iron Man's armored suit like so, then start erasing the guides, and mistakes that where made throughout the lesson.   STEP 8. Here is how he should look when you are all done. Now you can have even more fun as you color Iron Man, Tony Stark in. Thanks for joining me with another fun filled lesson.   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3.
