STEP 1. Draw a circle for the head then draw a bean shape for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines then proceed to step two.   STEP 2. Now you will need to draw out the shape of the french bulldog's face and head. As you can see the jowls for the dog are shaped like a heart. The head is almost like an upside down U.   STEP 3. Next, draw the large bat style ears as well as add all the texture detailing inside. Even though the ears stand up, they are not as stiff as German Shepherd ears, they are sort of wobbly. Draw the chin and bottom jowls as well as some chin whiskers.   STEP 4. The face of a french bulldog is sort of tricky to sketch in because of all the wrinkles on the face. Using the facial guidelines draw out the simple shapes of the eyes. You will then draw the layered crinkled skin on the bridge of the french bulldog's snout. Add some whisker holes, then add texture definition to the face and skin.   STEP 5. Draw the shape of the dog's neck which is really wide. The folded creases on the back part of the neck. Draw the chest which should give this bulldog a proud look. Draw in the top part of the leg, then move to step six.   STEP 6. You will now draw out the rest of the legs. As you can see they are short, stubby and really wide. Sketch in the texture of the dog's coat on the legs, as well as all five toes and all of the nails on each paw.   STEP 7. Here you will draw out the rest of the dog's body, followed by the back leg and paw. You can also sketch in the wrinkles or folds on the body as well as the texture to the dog's skin.   STEP 8. Lastly, draw in the other back leg and paw, then erase the mistakes you made.   STEP 9. The line art should look as you see here. Color in your French bulldog to look like anything you like.   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6. Step 7. Step 8. Step 9.
