STEP 1. First, let's sketch the basic face shape for Leonardo. It's important we start with a foundation to place our future lines on. Be aware that you should draw these lines LIGHTLY in order to erase them without hassle once you're ready to ink.   STEP 2. Next, sketch the hat for Leonardo, which is his signature trait. Before you proceed to thicken your lines, be sure that it's the outcome you're satisfied with. Always trust your instincts.   STEP 3. Then, let's draw the shape of the face by sketching the sides of the face and the beard. This is the most vital part about Leonardo's face that we must include with the drawing. Use thin lines for the individual separating strands of beard.   STEP 4. Now that we have the inside frame of the face and beard, let's proceed to drawing the outer shape of the head. Use thick outlines for the outlining shape of the head, and thinner lines for the detailing sections of strands.   STEP 5. Lastly, fill in his facial features. Leonardo naturally looks angry in most of his photos. His nose is moderately long than most faces. Make sure you draw his eyebrows thick, and thin line weights for the indication of mustache and beard.   STEP 6. Once you have the sketch done, it's time to review your drawing to make sure you're satisfied with the outcome. After you're satisfied, use either a marker or pen for the various line weights. Remember, use thicker lines for areas that have the darkest shadows. I hope you guys enjoyed this fresh addition. Thanks for viewing!   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6.
