STEP 1. As you can see the first drawing is of the dolphins skeleton. It looks very much like any other animal. Dolphins have spines, ribs, arms and skull just like a land dwelling species.   STEP 2. Here is a break down on some of the internal organs inside a dolphin's body. You see the heart, lungs, liver, stomach, kidney and rectum. Notice how large the lungs are? And the liver is pretty massive as well.   STEP 3. As you can see dolphins have their entire body made up of muscle. They have very little fat as they are a lean water mammal. I think it's very interesting how an animal that lives in the sea has so much muscle mass.   STEP 4. Along with the skeletal drawing of this dolphin anatomy, I show you a close up image of what their pectoral fins look like. As you can see they look like small hands. Amazing isn't it.
