STEP 1. First, let's begin by drawing the basic guidelines for the face shape of Cristina. I always start by drawing an oval that's similar to the shape of the face from my reference. I sketch a horizontal and vertical line where I plan to place the facial details.   STEP 2. Then, sketch the shape of the face, keeping within the guidelines to create an accurate shape. Don't forget to draw the bang which outlines the corner of her chin and forehead. Take your time!   STEP 3. Next, we'll start sketching the shapes of the eyes, working little by little. Sketch the upper lid and then the lower lid. Once you've completed that, finish off by sketching the long lashes. Don't add too many lashes or it will look unnatural.   STEP 4. Now that we've got the shape of the eyes drawn, we can jump to work on the lids and the brows. When you draw the brows, keep in mind to use light pencil strokes for each of the hairs, yet draw them closely together so they look as if they're natural hairs. Do not draw them too sparse from one another, or they will look strange. Next, sketch the upper lids and thin lining for the under eyes. Finish by sketching the bridge of the nose and nostrils.   STEP 5. Then, we sketch the pupils and iris for both the eyes. Try to draw them proportionally within the boundaries.   STEP 6. To finish the eyes, let's take our pencil, and lightly shade in layers a dark film around the eyes to mimic her heavy black eye shadow. Take your time, and make sure you work in layers. For example, sketch a light layer of pencil strokes around the eyes, then blend it in. Then do an even darker shadow round the eyes and blend again. So on and so forth until you have near black shadows.   STEP 7. To finish her face, sketch the mouth, beginning with the top lip first then the bottom lip. Don't forget to add a light line outlining her grin to the right.   STEP 8. Move on and sketch the hair, beginning with the crown of the head, and then the razor edges.   STEP 9. Lastly, sketch the shoulders and the details of her color bone and neck.   STEP 10. Once you've drawn all the previous steps, you should have something very similar to this. I would prefer you take your time to review your sketch before you jump into the inking or coloring process. Get yourself Micron pens ranging in various widths or black markers. Thanks so much for viewing. I hope you had fun!   Step 1. Step 2. Step 3. Step 4. Step 5. Step 6. Step 7. Step 8. Step 9. Step 10.
